About the Role

A Travel Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care for patients with pulmonary or critical conditions in a dynamic healthcare setting, working independently and as part of a team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer therapies
• Monitor and operate respiratory equipment
• Document patient progress and record observations
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Work with healthcare teams to ensure quality care
• Assess patients and develop treatment plans
• Conduct diagnostic tests and operate specialized equipment

Requirements

• One year of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
• NBRC credential
• Valid state license
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS or PALS certifications
