Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment, providing advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary conditions and critical illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans
• Assessing and managing patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Performing diagnostic tests and administering treatments
• Monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure proper oxygen delivery
• Documenting patient progress and working with multidisciplinary teams
• Educating patients and families on medication and equipment use

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• NBRC RRT credential and valid state license
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Proficiency in English and basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with attention to detail
