About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for respiratory therapy procedures including ventilator setup (neonate through adult), Hi-Flow in NICU, nebulizer treatments, Nitric Oxide, Flolan therapy, BiPAP, Bubble CPAP, and EKGs
- Works on all units including ER, CCU, and NICU
- Provides weekend and on-call coverage
- Wears hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Experience in ER, CCU, and NICU
- Active CRT or RRT credential required; license required if applicable
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics, NRP Advanced 9th Edition)
- AHA or ARC certifications accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Qualifications
- Resides more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No local candidates will be considered

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
36 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
