Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,618 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute care hospital in Anchorage, AK.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for respiratory therapy procedures including ventilator setup (neonate through adult), Hi-Flow in NICU, nebulizer treatments, Nitric Oxide, Flolan therapy, BiPAP, Bubble CPAP, and EKGs
• Works on all units including ER, CCU, and NICU
• Provides weekend and on-call coverage
• Wears hospital-provided scrubs

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Experience in ER, CCU, and NICU
• Active CRT or RRT credential required; license required if applicable
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics, NRP Advanced 9th Edition)
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Qualifications

• Resides more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No local candidates will be considered

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

36 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
