Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,930 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center in Vernal, UT.

Responsibilities

• Treats all age groups including adults, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Takes care of common diagnoses and treatments such as asthma, COPD, and premature infants
• Works with equipment including ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and infant nasal CPAPs
• Works independently in a smaller hospital setting
• No call or on-call requirements
• No float requirements
• Works 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) for 36 hours per week
• Schedule runs 6 days on, 8 days off
• Weekend hours are included in the standard weekly schedule

Requirements

• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Critical care and neonatal RT experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
• Active RT license required if applicable
• Date of birth and social security number required for consideration
• Navy blue scrubs required; street clothes are not permitted
• Outgoing and friendly personality is expected given the team culture

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
