Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 1+ year of experience for a night shift position at a nationally recognized hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
Inpatient respiratory therapy unit at a large acute care hospital in Saint Louis, MO
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12s
Weekend hours as needed
No floating required
EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college program in Respiratory Care
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy
- Active Missouri state license required (license required if applicable)
- RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- RRT-ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) preferred
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs not accepted
- No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability
Additional Information
- Prior adult ICU and ED experience preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Scrub color: black
- Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
- Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after 3 consecutive contracts, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
