Travel Respiratory Therapist Registered - $2,215 per week

About the role

Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in the acute care setting is responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to inpatient pediatric and adult populations. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver treatment plans, managing ventilators, and ensuring optimal respiratory support.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to inpatient pediatric and adult populations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver treatment plans.
• Manage ventilators and ensure optimal respiratory support.
• Work in the Emergency Department with an average of 2 Respiratory Therapists depending on census.
• Assignments based on patient acuity levels, approximately 25‑30 acuities per shift.
• Float as needed.

Requirements

• Current California license and certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience required; experience with pediatric and adult populations preferred.
• NICU experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS.
• Valid license and all required certifications to submit.

Schedule

• Night shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as per the hospital's holiday schedule.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
