Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position in Beckley, West Virginia. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population across all ages, including pediatric patients, within a busy healthcare facility. The position requires independent work and critical thinking skills to support patient care in emergency and critical care settings.

Schedule

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid West Virginia RRT licensure
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience in emergency room and critical care environments

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Proficiency in critical care procedures

Additional information

This is a Critical Access Hospital setting requiring the ability to work independently as the only Respiratory Therapist on shift. Strong critical thinking skills and experience in ER and critical care settings are essential.
