Travel Respiratory Therapist - NICU - $3,003 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 4 NICU experience for a night shift travel contract at a children's hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU setting
• Work with a Level 4 NICU patient population
• Experience in cardiac PICU is preferred
• Work 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Schedule preferences are accommodated on a best-effort basis
• Epic EMR experience required
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Self-scheduling model operated by the unit

Requirements

• RRT certification required and must be in-hand at time of consideration
• Current VA state license required, or a valid out-of-state license with the ability to obtain a VA temporary license before the start date; license required if applicable
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Active certifications: BLS and NRP required
• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
