Job Description
Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs
Hours: 36 hrs/wk

Requirements
- Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
- Current WA state respiratory therapy license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; NICU experience is required
- Adult Critical Care, ED, PICU, and Peds setting experience required
- Experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilators required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in ABG interpretation and basic EKG
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license required at time of consideration
- Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Skills
- Airway management responsibilities including intubation assist, extubation, tracheostomy/suctioning, nasal and oral airway placement, and sputum specimen collection
- Medication administration including Nitric Oxide (iNO), inhaled Flolan, racemic epinephrine, Albuterol, Atrovent, Mucomyst, Tobramycin, and other respiratory medications
- Nebulizer types including cold, heated, handheld, ultrasonic, T-piece, and trach collar
- Ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, high-frequency oscillator, flow-by, weaning, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
- Epic EMR required
