Travel Respiratory Therapist - Neuro Diagnostics - $2,470 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 26-week assignment at a short-term acute care hospital within the Yale New Haven Health System. The position involves 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights, and every other weekend and holiday as needed.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all areas of the hospital, including NICU and Pediatric units, based on census and staffing needs
• Perform 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Float between main and Milford campuses as needed
• Chart using Epic (experience preferred)
• Use Draeger ventilator in this role
• May be asked to orient students or new hires as needed
• Participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities if called upon

Requirements

• Current RRT credential or CRT, plus applicable state license required; license required if applicable
• BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Draeger ventilator experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required

Qualifications

• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• Professional reference required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Pay
