Travel Respiratory Therapist II - Pediatrics - $2,132 per week

About the Role

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide quality patient care. As a member of the Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. This is a contract assignment for 13 weeks (temporary) with a 3x12 Days shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families

Requirements

• Proven experience as Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
• At least 2 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
