Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Weekly Pay

About the role

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is responsible for delivering respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Key duties include implementing and adjusting treatment plans, performing diagnostics, administering therapies, monitoring equipment, and educating patients and families on respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Implement and adjust treatment plans
• Perform diagnostics
• Administer therapies
• Maintain and monitor equipment
• Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care
• Assist physicians and Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs)
• Examine patients
• Record patient progress
• Perform assigned duties within the scope of practice

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year recent CRT experience
• NBRC credential
• Valid state license
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Prior ACLS or PALS certification preferred
• Demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
• Show good interpersonal, technical, and sensory skills
