About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 1 week assignment starting on September 3, 2026 in Ellensburg, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to supervising physician.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Washington.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with medical equipment and technology.
Skills
- Knowledge of respiratory diseases and treatments.
- Skilled in administering oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation.
- Experience with pulse oximetry and arterial blood gas analysis.

Pay
The pay package is based on a 12 hour shift and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
