Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,530 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist to help provide quality patient care during the COVID-19 crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend a treatment plan
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Perform timely and accurate documentation
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Teach and counsel patients/families

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• At least 2 years of experience
