Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,412 per week

About the role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, at an acute care facility in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a $500 contract completion bonus.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour days and nights with a 7:00 AM start time
• Every or every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Thursday through Sunday for 48-hour schedules)
• No on-call or standby call requirements
• 2-day department-specific orientation to learn equipment and department procedures
• Must be comfortable working as the only RT in house
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Must have experience responding to rapid response team calls and code blues, C-sections, and conscious sedations
• Set up and manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow oxygen, ABGs, nebulizers, conscious sedation, and end tidal CO2
• Cover ER, inpatient, and other areas within the hospital as needed
• Treat mostly adult patients with pediatric patients seen in the ER and occasional OB deliveries and critical newborns
• Intubation performed with physician present in the room
• Float within the hospital as needed
• Scrubs provided on-site via scrub dispenser; personal scrubs also acceptable
• Equipment includes Draeger ventilators, Philips BiPAP/CPAP V60s, and Arivo high flow systems
• Maintain required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, PALS (AHA), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
