Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,340 per week

About the role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract starting July 27, 2026, at a hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Care for patients of all age groups including pediatric and NICU patients
• Charting and equipment includes V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, iSTAT, and documentation in EPIC
• Dress code requires closed-toe shoes, scrubs in any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed, and piercings per dress code policy
• May be required to float to other locations with advance notice provided

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• NICU experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Associate's Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted but RRT must be obtained within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• AHA or ARC certifications required

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience required, with additional qualifications including:

• Pediatric experience required
• NICU experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Associate's Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Advanced NRP, NBRC RRT (NBRC CRT accepted but RRT must be obtained within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• AHA or ARC certifications required

Skills

Essential skills and abilities include:

• Ability to perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Ability to conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols
• Ability to chart and document patient care in EPIC
• Ability to provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Pay

Estimated gross weekly pay: $2340

Contract completion bonus: $500

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

36 guaranteed hours per week
