Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,311 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week hospital assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. The position is night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total), with no on-call requirement.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)

Requirements

• Washington State license (if applicable)
• Registered, registry eligible, or certified by the NBRC
• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory care
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed respiratory medications, including knowledge of indications and contraindications
• Deliver therapeutic modalities such as nebulizer, CPT, flutter valve, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow therapy
• Set up and monitor oxygen aerosol administration and maintain oxygen cylinders properly
• Perform artificial airway care, including deep blind tracheal suctioning
• Utilize measuring devices such as pulse oximeters, Wright's respirometers, manometers, and oxygen blenders
• Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform safety checks on mechanical ventilators
• Set up and administer CPAP as needed
• Maintain accurate, legible clinical documentation in patient charts
