Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,261 per week
Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to provide quality patient care in Billings, Montana. This role is part of our effort to support healthcare facilities during the COVID-19 crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. About the Role
This is a contract assignment for 13 weeks with a shift of 3x12 nights (36 hours per week). The position is temporary and involves travel.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients and recommending a treatment plan
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Performing timely and accurate documentation
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Teaching and counseling patients and families
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Maintain current CPR or BLS certification
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Compassionate and sensitive demeanor
- At least 2 years of work experience

Pay
Pay depends on location and experience. We are offering a very competitive package to the right Respiratory Therapist. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
