Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Elmira, New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in various settings.
• Perform diagnostic testing and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Completion of required continuing education credits.

• Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
