About the role
Meda Health is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a position in Stafford Springs, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in at least one state.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including 12-hour shifts and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
