Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,179 per week
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while following established protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care as needed.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and assist in the interpretation of results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid RRT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in respiratory therapy preferred; candidates with 2+ years of experience will also be considered
- ACCS certification preferred
Licensure
A Virginia license is required, and candidates can submit with a pending license provided they can obtain a temporary license before starting. Candidates must also have a valid license in another state to qualify for a temporary license.
Schedule
Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Night shift: 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. The role requires flexibility to work every other weekend and two out of three winter holidays; requests for time off around Christmas are not approved. This is a contract position with a duration of 13 weeks; full commitment to the role and responsibility is expected to ensure the highest level of patient care.
