Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,110 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a day shift assignment at an inpatient hospital respiratory therapy unit in Stafford Springs, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in an inpatient hospital setting
• Assess, diagnose, and treat respiratory conditions using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Current PALS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Licenses required if applicable

Qualifications

• Pass references check
• Pass COVID vaccination card verification
• Pass licensure verification (including NURSYS where applicable)

• Strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
