About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report significant changes to supervising physician.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
