Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,038 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to provide quality patient care in Morristown, NJ. This role is part of the Respiratory Team, collaborating with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists to develop and ensure the patient plan of care. Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: 3x12 Nights (12 hours, nights)
Employment Type: Travel

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Compassionate and sensitive demeanor
• At least 2 years of experience

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience. We are offering a very competitive package to the right Respiratory Therapist. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
