About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory therapy procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising physician.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory conditions and treatments.
Requirements
- BLS, AHA preferred
- Current, valid certifications - NBRC
- Currently listed registry in state of practice
- Minimum 1-2 years of direct care experience
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist license
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
