Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,002 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Davenport, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulization, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation as necessary.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust plans accordingly.
• Document patient care activities and progress in medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Iowa.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• At least one year of recent clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) software.

Skills

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
