Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights (19:00 – 07:00)
- 3×12-hour night shifts
- Rotating weekends required
Responsibilities
- Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress, adjusting care as necessary
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Educating patients and their families on respiratory health and care management
- Maintaining accurate patient records and complying with safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee License required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy required
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- NRP certification preferred but not required; nursery experience helpful
- No first-timers accepted
- Must adhere to a smoke-free environment
- Tattoos below the neck permitted; inappropriate tattoos must be covered
- Earrings other than those worn in the ears must be removed while on duty
- Flu/COVID declination accepted on a case-by-case basis
Additional Information
- Guaranteed hours may vary, with a call-off policy of 12 hours per 2 weeks
- This position does not float within scope to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling is not available
- Local candidates are not accepted; applicants must be willing to travel
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
