Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,978 per week
About the role
Stability Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week contract in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The position is 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts. You will monitor and treat patients with temporary or chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, bronchitis, and emphysema, caring for a population that ranges from premature infants with undeveloped lungs to elderly patients with diseased lungs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
- Manage ventilators, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy
- Perform diagnostic testing (e.g., arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory care and disease management
- Respond to codes and emergency respiratory situations
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Willingness to travel for a 13‑week assignment
