Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform diagnostic testing and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Iowa.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of current respiratory care practices and equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to the job.
• Passion for travel and providing quality patient care.
