Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,960 per week
About the role
The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, performing intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed and within the scope of their professional license. This role involves evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans, as well as educating patients about their conditions and treatment options.
Responsibilities
- Congduct routine evaluations and recommend treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients on the purpose and procedures of treatments and equipment.
- Administer physician-prescribed treatments using various ventilatory and aerosol devices.
- Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning, including oropharyngeal, nasal, and tracheal methods.
- Maintain respiratory therapy records, documenting treatment details and patient responses.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient care and therapy efficiency.
Requirements
- Current NJ State Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Experience in performing respiratory therapy procedures.
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and monitoring techniques.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
