Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,958 per week

About the role

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Columbus, Ohio, starting ASAP. The position is 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (07:00–19:00), and is a travel employment type.

Vibra Travels offers a single recruiter from start to finish, local and non‑local positions, competitive hourly rates with tax‑free stipends (if applicable), no mid‑contract pay cuts, referral bonuses up to $1,000 per referral, license reimbursement for new state licenses, and access to assignments at partner facilities across the country. Clinical support is available throughout assignments.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience preferred
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment
• Documented proof of obtained degrees for regulatory compliance
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor (AHA preferred and required by some clients)
• Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP)

Pay

Competitive hourly rate plus tax‑free stipend (if applicable). Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. No pay cuts mid‑contract.
