Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,953 per week

About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible in Des Moines, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Iowa.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours long and occur 5 days a week.
