Travel Respiratory Therapist position in Springfield, Ohio. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Immediate start for a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least one year of recent acute‑care experience. Job ID #1522842.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedural guidelines.
• Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute‑care experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Active NBRC CRT credential.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS and NRP may be required depending on assignment location.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Physical demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
