Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,921 per week

About the role

We're looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Edmonds, WA. The right RT should have 1 year recent acute care experience. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support

Requirements

• 1 year recent acute care experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NBRC credential
• PALS and NRP may be required in some areas
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Ability to lift 20 lbs routinely; moving/lifting patients may require up to 50 lbs
• Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Pay & Schedule

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
