About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position in Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Night shift hours: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- 15-week contract
- Cares for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Includes continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
- Uses equipment such as PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent, Pyxis medication management, and computerized charting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- RRT preferred
- NRP preferred
- Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
