Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,815 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in East Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Train patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Michigan.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
