About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kansas City, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to physicians.
- Train patients and families on proper breathing techniques and equipment usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Kansas.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Pass a background check.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights.
