Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,671 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Carthage, Tennessee. We currently have a client in Carthage, TN looking for a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to help provide quality patient care during this COVID-19 crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
• Performing timely and accurate documentation
• Promoting continuous quality improvement
• Teaching and counseling patients/families

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• At least 2 years of experience
• Phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety
• Compassionate and sensitive demeanor

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Ask your recruiter if this job qualifies as a crisis rate.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, days (3x12 Days). 36 hours per week. 13-week contract assignment.
