American Traveler is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a position in Cumming, Georgia. The role is in the Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services department, working 12‑hour day shifts (approximately 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m.), three shifts per week (36 hours/week) with occasional weekend work. Start date is October 5, 2026 for a 13‑week assignment. One opening is available. Candidates must hold a Georgia RRT license, NBRC‑RRT certification, and current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least two years of recent respiratory‑therapy experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy specialty
• Georgia RRT license (if applicable)
• NBRC‑RRT certification
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2‑year break before returning as a non‑local traveler
• Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
