Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,652 per week
About the Role
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week contract assignment in Ogden, Utah. The position starts 11/02/2026 and involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts (3x12 schedule). As a member of the Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists, providing quality patient care during the COVID‑19 crisis. Responsibilities
- Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Performing timely and accurate documentation
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Teaching and counseling patients and families
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
- Phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety
- Compassionate and sensitive approach to patient care

Pay
Competitive package; pay depends on location and experience. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
