About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services to patients in hospital settings.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Document patient care activities and progress in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of advanced life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long, Monday through Friday.
