About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) for a 13‑week contract in Urbana, IL. The position begins 09/28/2026, requires 36 hours per week (3×12‑hour night shifts), and is an allied‑health travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Performing timely and accurate documentation
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Teaching and counseling patients/families
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS, N
