Travel Research Specialist

About the Role

Support premium resorts, cruises, Disney trips, family and couples travel, group planning, quotes, and travel-rule research with a focus on research traceability. The role ensures incomplete information is identified early to prevent downstream rework, measured through specialized execution within premium travel research.

Success in this role means research traceability is current, exceptions have clear owners, and any authorized teammate can continue the work without reconstructing history.

Responsibilities

• Track, own, coordinate, review, and maintain the Travel Research Specialist workflow by:
  • Separating observed facts from interpretation.
  • Documenting findings and limitations clearly.
  • Collecting information from relevant sources.
  • Checking source credibility and recency.
  • Organizing evidence around research questions.
• Apply market research and research documentation confidently in premium travel research.
• Provide resort and cruise support while tracking exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
• Document survey support decisions clearly for seamless handoffs to teammates.
• Use sound judgment in workflow decisions, escalating when necessary rather than making assumptions.
• Ensure remote execution leaves research traceability accurate, secure, and ready for the next authorized teammate.

Requirements

• Ability to execute travel research with a focus on specialized execution within premium travel research.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain research traceability.
• Experience or aptitude for separating facts from interpretation in research workflows.
• Judgment to escalate issues rather than make assumptions.

Pay

Base salary: $42,000–$62,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.
