Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN Rehabilitation for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. We’re seeking talented healthcare professionals whose adventure game is as strong as their clinical game. Those that want flexibility and high pay, we have the positions for you!
Responsibilities
The role involves working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days, with a floating policy that may require working in other Med Surg departments. Patient experience requirements include rehab experience, and the ideal candidate will have Med/Surg or PCU experience, BLS, and a VA license.
Unit Specifics
The unit has 35 beds, with patient ratios of 5-7:1, and techs are available per census, usually 2-4. The unit uses vitals machines, Baxter IV pumps, SCD’s, and bladder scanners, with a documentation system of Meditech.
Requirements
- Med/Surg or PCU experience
- BLS and VA License
- Rehab experience preferred
Procedures performed on unit
- Med administration to include IV’s, PICC, PEG tube admin
- Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation, Blood Administration
