Travel Rehab Services Position - $1,477 per week
About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Rehabilitation Therapist (Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Green Cove Springs, Florida. This on-site position offers day shifts of 8 hours per week, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited PTA program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Active Florida PTA licensure or certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly recommended
Pay
$1,454.72 - $1,499.71 per week
