About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Rehabilitation Therapist (Speech Language Pathologist) for a 13-week assignment in Green Cove Springs, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- FL licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Pay
$1,727.16 - $1,780.58 per week
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour day shifts
- On-site at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
