Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - PICU - $3,052 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across a high-acuity population including PICU, NICU, CCU, and floor therapy patients
• Operate and manage specialized equipment including Servo U ventilators, V60, and HFNC devices
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Minimum 4 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS
• PICU, NICU, and adult ICU experience preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
• Valid Alaska (AK) license required prior to start
• Compact license accepted at time of consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration

Benefits

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
