Assignment Overview
Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
Work settings include Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department; NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, and Pediatrics experience preferred
Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
Rotating weekends required
Block scheduling required
Patient ratios vary by unit
No on-call required
No floating between units required
Charting via Epic (required)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
Current RRT credential required
Valid Washington State license required (must be in hand at time of consideration)
Licenses required if applicable
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALSNRP certification preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Proficiency in ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, ABG interpretation, airway management, tracheostomy care, and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy
Experience with aerosol therapy, medication delivery systems, and pulmonary hygiene techniques required
Trauma experience required
Community hospital and teaching hospital experience preferred - Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting - First-time travelers are accepted for this position
