Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $3,033 per week

About the role

We're looking for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Indianapolis, IN. The right Peds-RRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. As a Peds-RRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories.
• Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function.
• Report malfunctions to the director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for the patient being treated.
