Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $3,010 per week

About the role

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a critical care setting. This assignment involves providing inpatient respiratory therapy services in adult intensive care, adult emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit, and neonatal intensive care unit levels III. The position requires schedule flexibility, working nights, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis for a duration of approximately 16 to 26 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient respiratory therapy services in adult intensive care, adult emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit, and neonatal intensive care unit (levels III).
• Deliver high-quality patient care on an as-needed basis.
• Maintain schedule flexibility to work night shifts.

Requirements

• Valid RRT certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (NRP required upon submission).
• Recent Epic electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience required.
• All specialties worked must be well documented in employment history; NICU levels must be detailed in work history entries.
• Explain any employment gaps over 90 days.
• Provide complete work history details including bed count, EMR system, and facility type for submission.
• Reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental) strongly recommended; public transportation not accessible in the area.
• Vehicle should be equipped with all‑season or snow tires from November through April.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours each.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Availability from 10/19/2026 through 02/07/2027.
• Bi‑weekly orientations beginning on 11/02.
• Work Monday through Sunday with no block schedule.
